Mount Merapi
Mount Merapi is known as one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Although it looks ferocious, but it is very beautiful mountain peak enjoyed, especially for nature lovers. Adventure tourism (trackking) are offered to tourists who want to enjoy the beauty of Yogyakarta from the mountain. The mountain is located approximately 30 km north of Yogyakarta city and the peak of the uneven sand plains.

Mount Merapi is the youngest in a collection of volcanoes in southern Java. The mountain is located in the subduction zone, where the Indo-Australian plate continues to move down the Eurasian Plate. The eruption in the area lasted from 400,000 years ago until 10,000 years ago and kind of eruption is effusive. After that, the eruptions become explosive, with lava flows that cause thick lava domes.

Peak Suroloyo
Peak Suroloyo is a tourist attraction which is located in the hamlet Keceme, Gerbosari village, district Samigaluh, Kulon Progo district. Suroloyo peak located at an altitude of 1017 meters above sea level, offering a unique panorama of the natural beauty of the mountains.

From the top Suroloyo, we also can see the beautiful expanse of tea plantation, Borobudur temple, the sun rises in the morning, the beauty of the mountain Sindoro, Cleft, Merapi, and also mountain Merbabu Ungaran.
